LOS 5 PREMIER CRU CLASSÉ DE BURDEOS
La Clasificación Oficial de 1855 reconoció 61 fincas, todas situados en el Médoc, a excepción del Château Haut-Brion que se encuentra en los Graves. Se dividen en cinco categorías: 5 Premiers Crus, 14 Seconds Crus, 14 Troisièmes Crus, 10 Quatrièmes Crus y 18 Cinquièmes Crus. De ellas, solo cinco obtuvieron la máxima distinción de Premier Cru Classé: Château Lafite-Rothschild y Château Latour en Pauillac, Château Margaux en Margaux, Château Haut-Brion en Pessac-Léognan y Château Mouton Rothschild que pasó en 1973 de Second a Premier Grand Cru Classé.
